All Of Us Are Dead Season 2: Premiere Date For Netflix, Cast, And Latest Updates!

Netflix’s success with Korean dramas is continuing. The streaming service has introduced a wide variety of new Korean content in the past year, including terrifying dramas, tense survival stories like Squid Game, and post-apocalyptic monsters like those in Hellbound.

South Korea’s All of Us Are Dead, a brutal high school takes on the zombie genre, is here to grab your attention and eat your brain.

We’re sure you’re all itching for new episodes of All of Us Are Dead because, like those other shows, it’s as addicting as it is well-made. You certainly did find the right place to be at.

Lee Jae-Kyoto, director of All of Us are Dead, said in an interview with The Korea Herald that he had “intentionally” set up the show for a second season.

According to Lee, the hybrid zombies we see in the show’s second half were created “to expand the story into an additional season,” which is why the show goes in so many different directions, settings, and scenes. If the first season was about human survival, then the second season can be about zombie survival.

All of us died at the end of the movie. After the initial outbreak, the city of Hyosan was quickly overrun by the zombie menace, but the Korean military eventually bombed the undead to extinction.

While most of the survivors’ tales have been told, it is still possible that the pandemic could reoccur. One zombie is all it would take to restart the destruction.

Synopsis of Season 2 of All of Us Are Dead

Nam-ra, despite having the infection ravage her body, still managed to keep her humanity. It turns out that she isn’t the only hybrid to gain superhuman strength and pain immunity from the virus. The problem is that the desire for human flesh is as strong as ever, making it a real danger in future episodes.

The original webtoon by Joo Dong-Geun has a very different ending, with Nam-ra reunited with her friends rather than the hybrids.

However, the show also hints that the virus has spread to Japan, so that could be something explored in season two, whether through subtle hints or a complete relocation of the story to another country. However, given that All of Us Are Dead was produced in South Korea, the latter seems highly improbable.

Also, Lee Jae-Kyoto has diverged significantly from the webtoon in other significant ways, so we shouldn’t necessarily look there for clues about what to expect in Season 2.

“Webcomics, in my opinion, feature a much lower degree of expression than movies or television dramas. I’ll admit that in an effort to make our show more accessible to a wider audience, I toned down the bloodlust of a few of the characters, most notably Gwi-nam and Na-yeon “As Lee Jae-kyoo put it: (via the Korea Herald).

“My high school graduation was over 30 years ago. The first installment of the webcomic debuted in 2009. Ten years is a long enough time for a lot to change, in my opinion. Even though it was difficult, I kept a close eye on the high school students’ facial expressions and behavior today “In the words of Lee.
