Katy Perry offered a performer a critique of her physical appearance as a judge on American Idol, she heard boos for the first time in her tenure on the panel.
Nutsa Buzaladze, a top 26 artist, performed at Disney’s Aulani resort in Hawaii on a Monday night. Grace Potter and the Nocturnals’ “Paris (Ooh La La)” was sung by the 25-year-old vocalist, who wore a silver dress with sequins, a black leather vest, and black boots to complement the look.
The three judges gave their opinions of Buzaladze’s performance after she was finished. Though Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan complimented the contestant’s rockstar performance, Katy Perry advised dialing it back a bit.
The Grammy-nominated artist said on her stage attire, “Nutsa, every time you take the stage, it’s like you glitter bomb the stage.” The next time, I’d like it if you didn’t use any glitter at all. Attempting that is going to be challenging, I anticipate.
A roaring booing mob responded to Perry’s criticism as Buzaladze sought to talk sense into the “Roar” singer. “Liner? Perhaps eyeliner?” she pondered.
In the meantime, Perry’s fellow judges were taken aback when the “Firework” singer was met with a round of boos for the first time in her six years on the American Idol panel.
“Whoa, Hostility!” While Bryan Stood And Yelled Enthusiastically, “Yes!” Richie Told Perry. There Were Boos Directed At Katy. They Booed Katy
Perry, though, didn’t seem to care how people responded to her criticism. “OK, for the first time in six seasons, woo-hoo!” she exclaimed, before adding, “But what I’m saying is that I’d like you to flip the script. Our desire to follow our hearts is universal. The United States and I both would enjoy seeing that.

As a judge on American Idol, Katy Perry is no stranger to controversy. Recently, candidate Sarah Beth Liebe accused the 38-year-old Grammy nominee of making fun of the mother of three during her audition, drawing criticism for Perry.
Liebe revealed to the panel of judges that she had delivered all three of her children before turning 25 years old on the March 5 program. Perry then stepped out of her chair and feigned to pass out while Liebe remarked, “If Katy lays on the table, I think I’m going to pass out.”

Singer of “California Gurls” told contestant, “Honey, you have been laying on the table too much,” drawing chuckles from fellow judges Lionel Ritchie and Luke Bryan.
On American Idol, Katy Perry Got Booed
The choice of Nutsa Buzaladze’s silver clothing and silver footwear for her performance of “Paris (Ooh La La)” by Grace Potter and the Nocturnals was criticized by Katy Perry. During her performance, Perry warned the competitor to tone down the glitter.
Perry remarked, “Nutsa, it’s like you glitter bomb the stage every time you perform.” Listen, the next time, I’d appreciate it if there wasn’t so much as a speck of glitter on you. That’s going to be challenging, I know it. Nutsa sought to mediate the criticism by asking what if she puts glitter eyeliner on.

Although the audience at Disney’s Aulani Resort in Hawaii booed loudly at Perry’s decision. Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan, two of the other judges, jumped to their feet in wonder and surprise at the reception they received. Katy clapped back saying it was the first time in six years that she had been booed when Bryan yelled that it had happened.
‘What I’m saying is that I’d like you to flip the script,’ Katy Perry said. I believe that most of us are looking for an emotional connection. The United States and I both want to see that.

Final Words
“First time in six seasons,” Perry, 38, said as the laughter died down. What I mean is, I want you to change things around. I believe that most of us are looking for an emotional connection. I think it would be awesome to witness that, and maybe the US would too.
