It’s been a while, but Good Burger 2 is almost here, and Kenan Thompson and Kel Mitchell are ready to take your order once again. During their appearance on Jimmy Fallon’s The Tonight Show, the pair dropped the news about the sequel.
Both Nickelodeon Movies and Paramount+ have announced that progress on the project is proceeding quickly. The movie will debut later this year on Paramount+ exclusively, and production could begin as soon as May.
The setting for Good Burger 2 was also leaked: Dexter Reed (Thompson) and Ed (Mitchell) will return to their jobs at the fast food chain in the sequel, where they’ll be joined by a new cast of hilarious coworkers.
In the 2019 revival series All That, Ed plays the manager of a Good Burger, and he’ll be happy to see Dexter again after one of his inventions bombs and he hits rock bottom. Dex begins formulating a strategy to get back on his feet, but this puts Good Burger’s future in jeopardy.

Wow, it’s been almost 26 years since Good Burger pioneered exceptional service to its customers! It’s surreal to be back at the original set, where it all began, working on the sequel, knowing that I’ve contributed to something that so many people have loved for so long.
I enjoy sharing the stage with my sibling Kel and look forward to revealing to the audience what the characters have been up to since we last saw them.
