What wonderful news for those who enjoy KonoSuba! Kadokawa confirmed in May 2022 that production on Konosuba Season 3 had begun and that the third season would debut soon.
Despite the lack of a confirmed premiere month, we anticipate Season 3 of Konosuba to premiere in January 2024.
Kadokawa has announced that, in addition to Season 3, they will be producing a spin-off anime series based on the novel KonoSuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World! In April of 2023, the spin-off will premiere on television.

Due to Kazuma’s recent financial success, he and his pals have decided to take a vacation to the town of Arcanretia, which is famous for its hot springs, only to be met by the deadly poison slime general Hans. The team’s bold plan pays off, and they’re able to defeat Hans.
Finally, a mysterious letter from Megumin’s childhood friend Yunyun leads the gang to the Crimson Demon Village, where everyone is a powerful mage but displays worrying immaturity.
Sylvia, a chimera general, comes to the village looking for a powerful weapon called the Mage Killer, but Kazuma and his increasingly renowned adventuring party always manage to foil her plans.
