When Will Season 2 Of “Spy X Family” Be Available?
Tatsuya Endo’s Spy x Family, a Japanese comic book, has become a success throughout the world thanks to the endearing Anya and the ridiculous antics of the Forger family.
Tatsuya has also worked as an assistant for the creator of the groundbreaking Blue Exorcist manga. Starting in March of this year, Shueisha has been serializing the series on the Shonen Jump+ app and website.
As of October 2022, the ten Tankobon volumes collect a total of 76 chapters of the manga. Thanks to the efforts of Wit Studio and CloverWorks, the first season of the Spy x Family anime debuted in April 2022, and the second season debuted in January 2023.
In contrast to much other excellent anime like There’s No Game No Life, Hyouka, Accel World, etc., the best news is that Spy x Family will be renewed for a third season. We have the evidence to prove that the news is accurate.
Spy X Family story
The second season will be an adaptation of the story arc that has been so well received by viewers: the Forger family’s cruise adventure. But there’s a catch: Yor, in addition to her assassin duties, must safeguard a powerful family from assassins.
Chapters 39–42 take place between the end of the show and the start of the Cruise Adventure Arc, and they are ideally adapted into the anime before the show gets to this arc. Although they aren’t crucial to the story as a whole, these chapters are full of interesting side stories and reveal character development.
Since these chapters and the fifteen chapters of the Cruise Adventure arc don’t seem like enough for an entire anime season, the next arc, which explores Loid’s traumatic Spy x Family backstory and why he became a spy, may also be adapted.
Spy x Family Season 2 Cast
Season two of SPY x FAMILY will have a large portion of the same excellent voice cast as season one, with skilled English and Japanese actors bringing to life the cast of lovable characters.
WIT Studios and CloverWorks, who have worked together very well thus far, will continue to produce the show as a co-production.
• Loid Forger – Takuya Eguchi (Japanese) / Alex Organ (English)
• Anya Forger – Atsumi Tanezaki (Japanese) / Megan Shipman (English)
• Yor Forger – Saori Hayami (Japanese) / Natalie Van Sistine (English)
• Emile Elman – Hana Sato (Japanese) / Macy Anne Johnson (English)
• Yuri Briar – Kenshô Ono (Japanese) / Dallas Reid (English)
• Sylvia Sherwood – Yūko Kaida (Japanese) / Stephanie Young (English)
Spy x Family Season 2 Teaser Trailer
A Season 2 teaser has been uploaded on the Toho Animation YouTube channel. This short isn’t entirely animated; it relies heavily on manga art; nonetheless, it does provide a sneak peek into the story of the trip Adventure arc by revealing both the Forger family’s preparations for the trip and Loid’s disastrous choice of holiday attire.
The preview shows that the characters can maintain their sweet and funny banter across a relatively short time frame, suggesting that season 2 of Spy x Family will be as good as, if not better than, season 1.
It’s impossible to know for sure when Season 2 of Spy x Family will premiere, but we can be very certain it will be in January of 2024. Add this page to your bookmarks if you want to stay up to date.
