It’s understandable that viewers would be anxious for news about season 5 of Stranger Things after the season 4 finale and the hints it dropped about what was to come. Part two of Stranger Things’ fourth season concluded with the heroes facing off against Vecna,
while Hawkins was left to deal with yet another schism the villain had caused. While it may take some time to process the events of Season 4, fans are already being teased with exciting Stranger Things season 5 updates, so the story is far from over.
Before Eleven, Hawkins, or the Upside Down were ever seen by the public on Netflix, the Duffer Brothers had already planned out a multi-season story. Almost seven years after the series’ initial airing,
Eleven and the other Hawkins heroes have endured incredible trials, lost loved ones, and saved the world on numerous occasions. But every time they win, the heroes find that the Upside Down is smarter and throws new nightmares at them. It’s obvious that there needs to be a climactic showdown before Stranger Things can wrap up.
When Will Season 5 Of Stranger Things Be Available?
So, there’s good news and bad news: season five of Stranger Things is definitely coming, but no one knows when. There was a mighty gap between seasons three and four, and when volume two of season four was released, the cast and crew had not yet begun filming the final episodes.

Even taking into account the whole pandemic situation, it still took them the better part of three years, with season three premiering in July 2019 and season four beginning in June 2022.
Since the actors are aging rapidly (yet must be portrayed as teenagers even though they are in their 20s and 30s), the final season of the show will likely begin production sooner rather than later.

Has Production Started On The Fifth Season Of “Stranger Things?”
While appearing at the Middle East Film & Comic Con in Abu Dhabi over the weekend, David Harbour, who plays Jim Hopper on the Netflix series, confirmed that filming for the new season will begin in a few months.
He said more preparation and training are needed before they start filming in June of this year. We’re officially in season five now,” David declared. I still have a few months to get in shape. But we begin filming that in June, and it will be the last season.
For season four, I put in a lot of work in the gym. In that Russian prison, Hopper was in a very particular situation. It was an effort to transform him into a new person by erasing parts of his personality. But now that he’s home, in the land of cheeseburgers, he won’t go hungry.
In Season 5 Of Stranger Things, What Will Happen?
There will almost certainly be unexpected developments, as is customary for Stranger Things. The next season will likely feature a time jump from season four, which has been confirmed by the show’s creators, The Duffer Brothers.
“We learn a lot every time we make a [season],” Matt Duffer said to TVLine. “I’m sure it’ll change a little bit from that outline” “We’ve learned a lot just working with all of our new actors and the ones that we’ve worked with for a long time over this year [making season 4].”

He elaborated, “Time travel is inevitable. It would have been ideal to film [seasons 4 and 5] simultaneously, but that wasn’t possible due to scheduling conflicts. So, when we launch the room, that’s when we’ll have these talks with our writers. You won’t believe it, but production on season four is still ongoing. We’re working hard to wrap up production on the final two episodes, which are enormous.”

The brothers have previously hinted at what we can expect to happen in the fifth season of Stranger Things by saying that there are “more exciting stories” to come from the Stranger Things universe.
In the statement accompanying the S5 announcement, the developers said: “More mysteries, adventures, and surprising heroes are just waiting to be discovered in the Stranger Things universe. But first, we ask that you bear with us as we conclude the story of Eleven, a strong girl with a brave group of friends, the broken police chief, and the fierce mother, the town of Hawkins, and the mysterious Upside Down.”
Stranger Things Season 5 Cast
