Show me a more messed-up family than the Roys on the HBO drama series Succession. There aren’t many families on TV right now with a dynamic as toxic as that of Waystar RoyCO mogul Logan Roy (Brian Cox) and his offspring. After all, they are always ready to pitch in and do the grunt work if it will help them climb the corporate ladder faster.
The three heirs to their father’s media empire—Kendall (Jeremy Strong), Shiv (Sarah Snook), and Roman (Kieran Culkin)—will return to television soon to settle their father’s unresolved business with them.
If Tom (Matthew Macfadyen) and Greg (Nicholas Braun) don’t get the jump on things first. This handy guide contains all the information currently available about the next chapter of Jesse Armstrong’s Emmy-winning series, for all those eager to learn what happens next.
When Will Season 4 Of “Succession” Be Available?
There is currently no known date for the release of Season 4 of Succession. However, the fourth season of the HBO Black Comedy series Succession is rumored to premiere in the spring of 2023. The producers of the show tweeted on July 28, 2022, that they had officially begun filming Season 4 of Succession. HBO Max released the Season 4 Succession trailer on October 24, 2022.

The Roys play a central role in the drama series Succession. The Roy family owns the media conglomerate Waystar RoyCo. Family patriarch Logan Roy (Brian Cox) and his four offspring — Connor Roy (Alan Ruck), Kendall Roy (Jeremy Strong), Roman Roy (Kieran Culkin), and Siobhan “Shiv” Roy (Sarah Gadon) — are the focus of this drama (Sarah Snook).

Succession season 4 Plot
In June of 2022, the following was included in the official synopsis for Season 4: “Season four’s 10 episodes bring closer and closer to reality the sale of media conglomerate Waystar Royco to tech visionary Lukas Matsson.
“As the Roys try to imagine what their lives will be like after this earth-shattering sale is finalized, they are overcome with existential angst and rifts in their family.

As they consider a future in which their cultural and political weight is severely curtailed, the family engages in a power struggle. A quick recap makes it clear that season four of Succession will feature all-out warfare within the family and the company.
Since Logan has betrayed his loved ones and agreed to a buyout of Waystar Royco, he will lose a significant source of motivation. So, what does he plan to do instead? It’s possible that selling Waystar to Lukas Matsson wasn’t the Hail Mary he was hoping for, despite his cunning.
And so, what will happen to Shiv, Roman, and Kendall now that they have only each other to get them through this difficult time?
Every single pivotal character has been dumped by their main squeeze. Tom, after being beaten down, has finally bit back with Shiv and left her for dead (not that he knows she knows this). She won’t take that kind of betrayal lying down, that’s for sure.
Gerri, the one person Roman could have trusted implicitly, has betrayed him to advance her own goals. Then there’s Kendall, whose sanity is literally hanging by a thread.

Succession season 4 trailer
At the beginning of March, the trailer for the final season (sob) of Succession was released, and it suggests that the war within the Roy family is about to boil over.
The trailer shows that no one is happy about anything, what with Logan trying to/threatening to bring Roman back into the fold to help with Mattson, Connor still believing he can become president of the US, and Shiv confronting Tom about his betrayal.
When Logan is seen prowling around the Waystar office, our hero Greg compares him to “if Santa Claus was a hitman,” delivering the best line in the trailer.
Final Words
HBO has announced that the premiere date for Season 4 of Succession will be March 26, 2023. For a program to be eligible for an Emmy, it must have originally aired between June 1 and May 31 of that year.
