John Wick 4, or John Wick: Chapter 4, is coming out in less than a month, and Keanu Reeves’s return as the hitman promises to be spectacular. A 169-minute runtime for the fourth installment of the successful action franchise was announced in February 2023. Two hours and forty-nine minutes is an hour and a half longer than the longest previous outing.
There was speculation that John Wick 4 and 5 would be filmed simultaneously, guaranteeing fans two more installments in the series. Not anymore though; according to Reeves, the success of Chapter 4 will determine whether or not there will be a fifth film.

John Wick 4: Release Date?
The film was supposed to premiere in theaters in May of 2021. The movie was originally scheduled for a 2020 release, but the spread of COVID-19 forced another delay until 2022. It’s official: Lionsgate Films has set March 24, 2023, as the premiere date for John Wick 4.
The movie’s release date is quickly approaching, and fans are already itching to find out who our favorite assassin will be facing this time around. You can always catch John Wick: Chapter 4 on Netflix or Hulu if you can’t make it to the theater.
When Does John wick 4 Come Out?
Unfortunately, there has been no official word on when the movie will be available for streaming on any service. There has been no announcement regarding the HBO Max premiere date for John Wick: Chapter 4. It’s worth noting, though, that as of January 31, 2023, all three John Wick movies were no longer available via streaming.

What Can We Expect From John Wick’s Fourth Chapter?
Following the events of Parabellum, in which John Wick narrowly avoided being killed by the High Table, Keanu Reeves will return to the role in a new film. Winston may have been trying to help Wick get away when he shot him off the continental’s roof, but it’s not clear.

According to the official synopsis, “with the price on his head steadily rising, legendary hitman, John Wick takes his fight against the High Table worldwide, traveling from New York to Paris to Japan to Berlin in search of the most powerful players in the underworld.”
The first trailer hints that Wick will be seeking an exit from the assassin world by engaging in a duel with an unknown opponent, possibly the Marquis de Gramont.

According to an exclusive report from Collider, production of John Wick: Chapter 4 will move most of the action out of New York City and instead shoot in Berlin and Paris before adding additional photography in Japan and New York.
As a result of the pandemic, Lionsgate had to delay its plans to film John Wick 4 and John Wick 5 simultaneously, so that only John Wick 4 will be completed by the end of the summer. The last scene was filmed in November of 2021.
Stahelski told Collider that an exciting scene was shot inside the Louvre Museum in Paris.

While it was initially intended to be shot back-to-back with the fourth installment. in March 2021 Lionsgate opted to delay production and move forward with Chapter 4 first. Keanu Reeves has stated that he will continue making sequels, as long as the films are successful.
